Bright Picks helps you find genuinely good kitchen gadgets without wading through hundreds of near-identical listings.
What we do
We research the kitchen gadgets people actually buy — air fryers, blenders, coffee machines, timers and organisers — and shortlist the ones worth your money. Each roundup weighs real-world performance, ease of cleaning, how much worktop or drawer space it eats, and whether the price makes sense. We favour useful over flashy, and we'll always tell you who a pick isn't for.
How we choose our picks
Our picks are research-based, not hands-on tested. We have not bought or used the products named on this site. Each pick comes from researching published specifications, patterns in customer feedback, warranty and support terms, and professional reviews from publications that do test. We say so plainly because the alternative is letting you assume a testing lab that does not exist.
The labels are recommendations, not scores. We deliberately do not publish a decimal rating out of five — a number like “4.7” implies a weighted scoring system behind it, and we do not have one. A short label plus an honest description of the trade-off tells you more than invented precision. If we ever test products directly, we will say which ones and how.
We also try to say who each pick is wrong for. A recommendation with no downside is an advert, and you should treat it as one — here or anywhere else.
How we stay independent
Bright Picks is funded by affiliate commissions, not by manufacturers.
